Candlelit receptions beneath ancient barrels, elegant harvest tables and curated wine pairings, in one of the most iconic wine cellars in South Africa.
The Cathedral Cellar was KWV's main cellar, and its wine vats were hand carved in the 1930s. It is a room that needs very little dressing: the scale, the timber and the candlelight do most of the work, which leaves the day free to be about the people in it.
We run weddings turn-key. Venue, kitchen, service, bar, styling and the logistics around them all sit with one team, so there is a single conversation rather than a diary full of suppliers to chase.
What we take care of
- Three-course or five-course dinner with KWV premium wines
- Food-and-wine pairings chosen with the KWV winemaker
- Canapé and cocktail receptions
- Bespoke bars, including KWV gin and brandy
- Crockery, stemware, waiters and barmen
- Décor consultation, styling and event management
